• Documents you upload: Invoices, bank statements, ledgers, prior tax filings, incorporation documents, identity proofs, and other records you share through the client portal, email, or WhatsApp for us to process your engagement.
• Communications: Queries, support requests, and correspondence with our team by email, phone, or through the portal.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit www.accountsup.in or use the client portal, we automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and login/session activity. This is used to secure accounts, troubleshoot issues, and improve the website and portal.

3. Information from third parties

If you are referred to us by a partner, sign in using a third-party authentication service, or if a government portal (e.g., GST Network, Income Tax e-filing, MCA) shares filing status or acknowledgments relevant to your engagement, we may receive and use that information to complete your service request.

We use client and website information to:

• Prepare and file GST returns, income tax returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances on your behalf;
• Carry out business registration, incorporation, licensing, and advisory engagements;

Given the sensitivity of the tax, GST, and financial documents you share with us, we apply the following safeguards:

• Restricted access: Only the AccountsUp team members assigned to your engagement can access your uploaded documents and account data, on a need-to-know basis.
• Login security: Portal access is protected by your unique login credentials. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and should notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
• Retention: We retain client documents for as long as needed to complete your engagement and to meet statutory record-keeping requirements under applicable tax, GST, and company law, after which they are securely deleted or archived as required by law.
• Deletion on request: You may request deletion of documents no longer required, subject to our legal and professional retention obligations.
• Certified processes: AccountsUp is ISO 9001:2015 certified (Certification No. 7EB9C9DF, certified by Pacatus Certification Pvt. Ltd.) for its financial accounting, record management, internal control, financial risk management, business valuation, and taxation services, reflecting documented quality and control standards across our engagements.

Part IV — Payment Information

AccountsUp does not store your payment/card details on our website or servers. All payments made for our services are processed through third-party, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways. Your card number, CVV, and other sensitive payment credentials are entered directly on the payment gateway's secure page and are never transmitted to or stored on www.accountsup.in.

We may retain only non-sensitive transaction records (e.g., invoice number, amount paid, date, payment status) for our own accounting and GST compliance purposes.

Part V — Who We Share Information With

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Government portals: As necessary to file your returns and applications (e.g., GST Network, Income Tax Department, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and other regulatory bodies), strictly as required for your engagement.
